Spring Jam is right around the corner! It's a great time to promote your business through sales, special hours, sidewalk specials, customer specials and raffle items! Wait. Raffle items? YES! We want to highlight local businesses during the Spring Jam weekend and the best way to get people INTO your business is to donate a gift certificate that brings them BACK to your store or to call you for service. There are well over 100 raffle items that are given away all weekend to locals and people from all over the Las Vegas valley and what a better way to drive traffic to your business than this! Bring your raffle donations into the Chamber office by May 1 so we can get them on display on Friday May 3. 

We are also looking for volunteers to work a couple of shifts at the Credit Union selling raffle tickets on May 3. The shifts are 9-1 and 4-6. Wear your business logo and promote your business while you're volunteering! Interested? Sign up at the Chamber office or reply to this email! 

Mark your calendars because on June 12 we hope to see you at Chilly Jilly'z Patio for the 2019 Annual Installation & Awards dinner. Based on feedback we received from our business community, we are going back to our roots with a good old fashioned dinner and awards banquet. No fancy frills, just recognition of local businesses! We are excited to mix and mingle with owners, employees and organizations for an evening of music, good food and details of what the Chamber has been up to over the past year. We have moved the evening to our regular Mixer day (Wednesday) and it will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end by 7:30 p.m. There will be table sponsorship opportunities with details to come but for now, secure your spot by registering as tickets will NOT be sold at the door. The ticket link will be open until June 1 so be sure to purchase either through the link or come into the Chamber office and buy your tickets. June 1 will be here in no time so don't wait!

Leverage the busy weekends or additional crowds by visiting with customers as they come into your place of business, handing out brochures or business cards, giving them a discount or freebie to be added to your mailing list, or asking them to follow you/check-in to your social channels for a discount. Interacting with your customers while they are in your store is critical to long term business success! Make sure you're leveraging every opportunity to get those visitors in your doors!
