All we can say is WOW! The weekend of December 5-8 saw many bustling around town to make it to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Crowe Park, the lighting of the Christmas House on 5th, Doodlebug Bazaar, Santa's Picture Party, and Santa's Electric Night Parade. We had over 80 entries in this year's parade and so. Many. Lights. Seriously, the entries were AMAZING! If you didn't happen to catch the parade, check out some of the behind the scenes here! Winners were announced and posted and a good time was had by all! Of course Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Jingle Cat were in attendance all weekend! Did you see an influx of shoppers during the weekend? The LVCVA (Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority) is looking for community residents to sign up as volunteers for several large sporting events taking place beginning in 2020. With the opening of Allegiant Stadium, the NFL Draft, NASCAR, The Las Vegas Bowl, and National Finals Rodeo, there is plenty of opportunities to get you involved and next to the action! The Internal Revenue Service has just released the new version of the W-4 that must be used with all new hires after Jan 1, 2020. There are some MAJOR revisions so make sure you download the newest version so you are in compliance beginning January 1.
