What's Happening Around Town & Beyond

When was the last time you checked out the Boulder City Community Calendar? The Boulder City Chamber is home to the ONLY community calendar in the City so it's the place to check out all of the events, meetings, book clubs, and more happening around town. You can also get access to the community calendar through our app, available through the App Store or Google App Store for Android at Boulder City Chamber - Nevada.

The Community Calendar is a great place to stay up to date on events happening around town that could affect traffic into your business. It's also a great place to post any sales, specials, and workshops your business is offering. We highly recommend businesses to post events on the calendar as it gives the Chamber an opportunity to help them promote it as part of their investment. It's easy to submit your event!

State of the Media - The Video Advantage

The Boulder City Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Channel 8 Digital Media to help businesses learn how to navigate the digital landscape. We've had several businesses take advantage of these media opportunities with Channel 8, like Southwest Diner and Fox BBQ. Both of these businesses have seen incredible increases in the traffic that has come into their business as a direct result of investing additional advertising dollars into their marketing strategy.

We are inviting ALL businesses that wish to up their marketing game to a FREE Lunch and Learn at Boulder Creek Gold Club on February 10 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. You will receive lunch and a Digital Advertising Checklist just for attending. This is a great opportunity to see how diversifying your marketing strategy can help you achieve your business goals. Feel free and reach out to Southwest Diner and Fox BBQ to get the specifics on the results they've seen. If you wish to attend, RSVP to Sandy Ellis at 702-792-8810 or email at sellis@newsnow.com

Renewable Energy Survey for Businesses

From saving money to employee recruitment and retention, businesses are capturing the economic and brand benefits of procuring renewable energy, and investing in energy efficiency and electric vehicles. In November, we hosted an event on the business case for clean energy and electric vehicles. As follow up, we are sharing this brief survey for Boulder City Chamber members that will help us better understand your company's energy priorities and activities in Nevada and leverage opportunities to cut energy costs. Please fill out the survey here by Fri. Feb. 21st – it should only take a few minutes. Email Emily Duff (duff@ceres.org) with questions.

The Chamber will be collecting the responses and sharing the results. We would love to hear your feedback on how important renewable energy and electric vehicles are for your business!

Job Fair 2/25
