Mixer at Nancy Carlyle's Office

Be sure to attend the next Chamber Mixer at Nancy Carlyle's Office on October 12th at 5:30pm.  Her office is located at 404 Nevada Highway.

Bring a business card and a food item for Emergency Aid and be entered into a very special drawing!

If you've attended one of Nancy's events in the past, then you'll know not to miss this one!

Looking for Great Ambassadors

The Chamber Ambassador program is a wonderful way to be involved in chamber work and in your community.  The Ambassadors are the "Face of the Chamber".  They reach out to potential members, welcome new members and stay in contact with supporting members.

For more details on becoming a Chamber Ambassador, please contact the office and let Denise Senko, Membership Director, know of your interest.  We will be happy to have you join our elite group of volunteers.

New Fundraising Event for Emergency Aid

The Chamber is exploring the idea of a new fundraising event supporting Emergency Aid of Boulder City.  We'd like to know if it might be something you're business would like to be a part of.  Whether that interest is in active participation, sponsorship, or even just attendance.

The event would be titled, "Shop and Eat for Emergency Aid".  The idea would be to support a shop local campaign for one day in January that all merchants, restaurants and anyone else interested, would be advertised as an event location.  Each supporting venue would agree to donate a percentage of the days sales to Emergency Aid.  The Chamber would then promote the date to the community to shop and eat at those venues as a way to give back to the community and also support our local businesses.

If this type of an event was successful enough, Emergency Aid would only need to hold one fundraiser each year.  It could become an annual event and would grow in support as it becomes more of a regular activity in Boulder City.

There are many details to still work through, however, if this is something you think you might be interested in, or simply have some feedback, please let us know.
