Tibbits Opera House
14 S. Hanchett St.
Coldwater, MI 49036

Known for her screenplays Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally, Juliet & Julia, and Heartburn, Nora Ephron captures the essence of life with the collection of vignettes and monologues in Love, Loss, & What I Wore.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore is a play written by Nora and her daughter Delia, based on the 1995 book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. Women, clothes, and memories capture all the important subjects –mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses, and why we only wear black. Using the female wardrobe as a time capsule, the show touches on serious themes while also capturing the humor of life.

ART WALK ***ARTISTS WANTED****
10/13/2017
5:00 PM - 8:30 PM
DOWNTOWN COLDWATER, MI
CULTURAL WALKING TOUR

Arts Alive is striving to create a walking culture in downtown Coldwater by teaming up with business owners and local artists to create a fun cultural event for all ages, twice a year.  Our Fall Art Walk is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 13, 2017

How it works: We pair one or two artists with a business in downtown Coldwater for an evening. We do our best to fit your artwork with a space that is complimentary and appropriate.

Artists:  It is highly recommended that you contact your business location, once matched, to figure out how best to showcase your artwork. Please have your work ready to display with enough work to fill your space.  This one-night event will be advertised in a full page      Shoppers Guide Ad, Facebook, promoted on the radio and posted on Tibbits, the Chamber, and City websites. Your name & medium will also appear on posters and the Art Walk map.   What a great and free way to share your artwork and talent with the community!

Please commit no later than September 27, 2017.

Something new this year that we will be doing is asking participating artists to send in a holding fee for $50.00 that will hold your spot for the Art Walk.  Then, after the event, we will be able to return your $50.00 to you.  If you are unable to participate in Art Walk that evening and do not show up, your fee will not be returned.

We are also asking you to EMAIL SAMPLES of your work to info@coldwaterchamber.com. If you would rather us not use your photos for advertising, please notify us in the email.
