8 Reasons Why a Chamber Membership Adds Value to your Small Business!

  1. Credibility. Membership with a Chamber of Commerce increases positive perception among consumers and business owners. It shows commitment to success, and care for the community.

  1. Community Visibility.  You will be listed in the chamber newsletter and our online directory and have an opportunity to be interviewed on WTVB for Chamber Chat. You can also grow your business by advertising with the chamber, sponsoring events, or hosting a ribbon cutting organized for you, by us.

  2. Networking.  Attend our After-Business-Hours or Business-For-Breakfast events. Serve on a committee where you will sharpen your networking and leadership skills alike. Get to know the businesses and organizations that are in your market- and generate new business leads.

  3. Chamber Newsletters. Newsletters are a platform we use to introduce new members, share interesting information about operating a local business, highlight community events, celebrate our members’ successes, and post your job openings, among other features.

  4. Customer Referrals. We receive phone calls daily from individuals and businesses looking for vendors, suppliers, and service providers. We turn to you first. And our website? It receives nearly 50,000 hits annually!

  1. Chamber Events & Programs. Innovative, fun, and feel-good ways to engage with the community. We celebrate educators and nonprofits, relish the season’s bounty with Strawberryfest and Applefest, embrace winter with Icefest, and jam out with live music every summer. What could be better?

  1. Promotion & Publicity. With a chamber membership, you can reach potential clients through member exclusive advertising and opportunities for business-to-business advertising and publicity.

  2. Member-Only Discounts And Services. Special discounts and promotions are available for Chamber members, by Chamber members.

A Chamber Membership is like joining a gym/health club for your business.
If you don’t go, you don’t see results.
Put the effort in.

Branch County Community Foundation - Member Spotlight of the Week!

This week's Member Spotlight of the Week goes to the Branch County Community Foundation.  Read more below on why the Foundation feels that they deserve the Member Spotlight of the Week!

The Branch County Community Foundation (BCCF) is a non-profit (501)(c)(3)) dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities of Branch County and Colon, Michigan. The Community Foundation was established in 1991 by a group of individuals that connected from local Rotary clubs who saw the need for a Community Foundation supported by donors from all walks of life.
Our mission at the Branch County Community Foundation is to promote community philanthropy, build endowments and other charitable funds, and connect community resources.

The Community Foundation offers personal services and the place to begin for people who want to work together to create a strong, prosperous community. Our endowment funds are preserved, invested, and managed to assure a steady stream of income for grants to organizations that serve our community. We hold over 130 special interest funds set up by donors to support a particular organization or cause.
The Community Foundation has grown to its present size because of gifts and bequests from hundreds of individuals, families, organizations, and corporations. Today the Community Foundation has total permanent assets of over $7 million!
Right now the Community Foundation is promoting unrestricted donations with the goal of increasing our ability to respond to a greater variety of community needs. We hold one fund that was created to do just that, the Forever Fund.

The Forever Fund has a broad impact on the community because it awards grants for any project or program that improves the quality of life in Branch County. The Forever Fund also supports the Community Foundation’s work toward that goal. It is the only fund where distributions aren’t restricted to a specific cause. Who can donate to the Forever Fund? You. Your business. Your civic organization. Your family. We have created an opportunity for every budget. Every dollar helps! There is so much more we want you to know!
