Starting on June 29th and ending on September 14th the Corner Farmer's Market runs every Saturday from 9am-1pm at the NW Corner of the Four Corners Park in downtown Coldwater. Read more below on why Owner/Operator Danielle Green feels that Southern Roots Salon & Spa deserves this week's Spotlight! We are a full service salon, offering hair, nails, massage, and skincare services. We offer a very family friendly environment, with a childrens room for entertainment while momma gets pampered. When first opening the salon, my goal was to create a unique atmosphere. Customer Service/Southern Hospitality being the number one priority. Secondly, I wanted to build a strong team, that were not only highly skilled, but also “blendable”. I’m sure everyone has the same scenario in mind when cramming ten women in the same place at once. Complete chaos. I’m happy to say that we have beat those odds and have truly built a family. We make it a point to spend time together outside of our work place often. I truly could not ask for a more solid team of women. The name “Southern Roots” was chosen in regards to my upbringing in the West Virginia / Eastern Ky area. I may now be a Michigander, but I never want to lose those deep Southern Roots that made me who I am today. Coldwater has been more than wonderful to the girls and myself. We love serving our community and hope to continue for as long as we can! Exciting news, we will soon be expanding and moving to a new building, located at 5 S. Monroe St. Coldwater.
