Buckeye Valley News Archives Now Available On Library Web Page
Thanks to the Buckeye Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution the Buckeye Valley News issues from February 1912 to December 2003 are available through our online database resources. Currently they can only be viewed on the public access computers at the Buckeye Public Library.
Capturing Arizona’s Stories
“The Library’s “Buckeye Remembers” project has been chosen to be a part of the State’s 2010 Capturing Arizona Stories program. The Library will partner with the Buckeye Historical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and the public to submit a total of 15 oral histories to the state for the centennial project. The oral histories will also be added to the archives of the Buckeye Valley Museum. We are looking for people who would like to be a part of this remarkable project and help us capture our piece of Arizona history as “Buckeye Remembers.” Please contact Chris Larson 623-349-6312 if you would like to be involved.
