About West Valley Rock & Mineral Club

How it All Started

Searching the internet for a rock club near Buckeye, AZ proved futile. The closest club was in Surprise and Wickenburg. So, Judy thought that taking out an ad in the local newspaper may spark some interest in fellow rock hounds to join together, and form a club.
It worked!

We are enthusiastic, fun-loving, adventurous rock hounds who think that searching the mineral-rich Arizona land for treasure is the greatest!

We do what we love to doexplore, discover, and find that most beautiful rock weve ever seen. We share knowledge, our mineral specimens, and friendship.
