About U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary
U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Elegant Eleventh Southern District, proudly serves the communities of Southern California, Southern Nevada, Southern Utah, and Arizona, including Bullhead City, AZ. As the civilian volunteer arm of the United States Coast Guard, our mission is to promote and enhance maritime safety, security, and stewardship. Since our establishment by Congress in 1939, we have remained dedicated to supporting Coast Guard operations through public education, vessel safety checks, patrols, and search and rescue missions. Our dedicated members contribute countless hours to safeguarding our nation's waterways, ensuring that both recreational and commercial mariners have the knowledge and resources to navigate safely.
Committed to excellence and community service, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers a range of programs, including boating safety courses, marine environmental protection initiatives, and operational support for Coast Guard units. We welcome individuals aged 17 and older who share our passion for service, leadership, and maritime safety. Whether conducting safety inspections, assisting in emergency response efforts, or educating the public on responsible boating practices, our volunteers play a vital role in strengthening maritime security and readiness. Join us in making a difference and upholding the proud traditions of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
