About Us
Krayons Academy prides itself in its mission to provide children with the best of care. We strive to honor the community’s trust in our facilities and staff so that we can provide our children a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.
Krayons Academy and Krayons Academy 2 are state of the art faciities located less than two miles from the main gate of Kings Bay Submarine Base in St. Marys and Kingsland, Georgia. The operating hours are from 6:30AM – 6:00PM., Monday through Friday.
Krayons Academy places emphasis on developing the whole child by incorporating academic as well as socialization skills. The skills building activities at our center include language and math readiness, indoor and outdoor games and play that not only stimulate the mind but also provide the children’s self confidence. The center’s Pre-kindergarten program is committed to providing a quality educational program to four year old children. The program shall provide a wide range of interest and abilities in order to meet the appropriate needs of all of its children which includes parent involvement.
The tools of technology are also being utilized to enhance and individualize our children’s learning. However, we regard technology as a source not as a separate subject that children would not be able to transfer to their daily activity. The class rooms of the academy are designed and equipped for children’s intellectual, personal and social growth. We believe that this well rounded exposure will help children develop their fullest potential in all areas and become productive, respectable citizens.
Best Regards,
Director
