About Us

Charlie Notter has always sketched from his childhood days and even during his teen years. People always wanted sketches, which Charlie found easy to do.

In his adult years he made his living as a finished carpenter, which is a form of artistry within itself. He did work for several well known people such as two former presidents and one first lady. He also did a lot of custom work on the side for friends. After describing exactly what they wanted Charlie would do a mental picture of the item, he would then make a sketch in detail. The finished product was a one-of-a-kind piece.

Today his sketches have turned into oil paintings. He did them just for fun and gave them away. Charlie says it is all about color. He studied art at Galveston College in Galveston, Texas. He also took as many art courses from various artists as he could find time for.

Charlie currently resides in St. Marys, Georgia, in a home that he himself designed. His home in his gallery, filled with many of his beautiful paintings. His artistic ability is evident from his paintings out to the landscaping of his property.

Charlie is truly an American artist and art dealer.
