About Us
Coastal Georgia Rails to Trails Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2008 to develop the Georgia Coast Rail-Trail.
The group is made up of community leaders, elected officials, and trail enthusiasts from the four counties – Camden, Glynn, McIntosh, and Liberty – where the former CSX rail bed still exists.
The organization offers memberships to friends and supporters of the trail. We are also seeking funding from public and private grants.
Please join us as we build the exciting new Georgia Coast Rail-Trail, a 68-mile “linear park” for hikers, bikers, joggers, equestrians, skaters, anglers, bird watchers, students of history and nature, and tots in strollers!
Become a member! You will receive a Georgia Coast Rail-Trail decal and online trail updates. In addition, you will play an important role in helping us complete the trail.
