About Us
With operations commencing in 2004 and incorporation January of 2005, our product range within land surveying professional services continues to evolve through our technological advancements and by listening to our customers. We strive to provide the best and most efficient service available. Continuing education allows for maximum productivity and expedited services through proper utilization of our advanced tools.
Our President, A. Lee Robertson IV (GA RLS ) has over 15 years of surveying experience and was a Project Manager in Atlanta for a substantial engineering firm before moving to the coastal area of Georgia late 2004. Lee's experiences range from multimillion dollar golf course development with design to elevation certificates while including but not limited to boundary, topographic, environmental, subdivision, construction, GIS attributes and management, geodetic and GPS control networks, machine control, 3D modeling, 3D scanning, and civil design. Lee is a Level II Certified Design Professional by the GSWCC. Lee's education includes a undergraduate degree from UGA in Risk Management in 1999, a Professional Designation in Risk Management in 2002, a certificate in Geomatics in 2004, and an MBA in Information Technology from New York Institute of Technology in 2006. Lee is currently working towards a degree in Civil Engineering and registration a Professional Land Surveyor in Florida and Tennessee along with certification in GIS. Lee has served as expert witness in several court cases. Lee is currently a member in SAMSOG, NSPS, ASCE, UGA Alumni, NYIT Alumni, Lions Club International, and Sigma Pi Fraternity International.
Hugh "Cotton" D. Thomas (GA RLS) remains as a great mentor and contributor and has over 55 years of surveying experience. Cotton's experience include more than 36 years before retiring from the Georgia Department of Transportation, lastly as Area Engineer and ran his own operation for nearly 30 years. Cotton's knowledge and assistance in our operational development have been invaluable. Cotton has severed as expert witness in a very large amount of court cases.
Throughout our operations we have provided construction staking and aided in construction management for hundreds of millions of dollars worth of projects and surveyed thousands of acres of property.The other members of our team have several years of surveying experience.
Our team is equipped and experienced with the most advanced equipment including Dual Constellation RTK GPS with GLONASS and Millimeter accuracy, 3D scanning equipment, robotic surveying instruments, conventional instruments, laser levels, and conventional levels. We primarily use Topcon equipment.
