There is still time to organize your team for the Chamber's Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 13th at the Carroll Country Club. It's a fun day of golf and a great opportunity to network with fellow Member businesses. Consider inviting an out-of town guest to play on your team. If you don't
play golf, you can still be involved and gain exposure for your business by being a Hole, Flight, Eagle, or Raffle Sponsor. See the enclosed registration form.

CARROLL MAGAZINE

The Chamber, in partnership with Chamber member businesses, the Daily Times Herald and Stone Printing & Office Supply, released the 2016 Edition of the Carroll Magazine in April. The magazine is placed in every hotel room and displayed at many local businesses. This magazine is made possible through Chamber member business advertising.

THOUGHTS FROM PRESIDENT ANDY REIMAN

First off, I would like to congratulate our local graduates and wish them the best of luck as they transition into the next phase of their lives. To the young kids, I would like to express how great of a community they have grown up in and if they are heading off to college, I hope they consider coming back when they have completed their education. Our community has so many great companies to work for, great schools to send their kids to and wonderful ammenities.

I feel spring has finally arrived and the dandelions are in full bloom. If you are like me, the war against weeds has begun. Our events season will begin this month, on May 7th we will be having our first Carroll Chamber of Commerce Color Fun Run. If you read my letter last month, you may know it as CCCCFR. I, for one, am not much of a runner but I am looking forward to running in this event. The idea of people throwing colored powder at me while I run seems like a lot more fun than your standard 5K run. We are also working on our Chamber Golf Outing.

There are many opportunities in this event to promote your business. Please contact the Chamber at (712)792-4383 to find out the best ways for your business to get extra exposure to the community.

Enjoy the outdoors!
