Getting Crafty (03/28/12)
This will be the third year the Rotary Club of Chester has sponsored this popular crafter's event.
The craft fair averages 55 booths of juried, handcrafted items. Touring guests can expect to view pottery, wood-working, specialty foods, jewelry, rugs, scented soaps, quilts, photography, metal working and many forms of fine art.
The fair also features a selection of lunch menus, one from a commercial vendor and the other provided by the volunteer board members of the unfunded Almanor Recreation and Park District.
According to Rotarian and event chairperson Cheri McIntire, now is the time to register for the May event; for an application, email lakealmanormemorialdaycraftfair@yahoo.com.
