Cedar Lodge is your Gateway to Outdoor Adventure
Come and stay with us as we know that you will enjoy your visit. Nestled in the pines and conveniently located 1 ˝ miles west of Chester, Cedar Lodge is in the heart of year-round family vacationland. Take a leisurely walk to the northern tip of Lake Almanor or a scenic 30 minute drive to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. How about stepping out your lodging door and into your skis or snowmobiling on over 60 miles of groomed trails?

Surrounded by peaks, including mighty Mt. Lassen, and punctuated by breathtaking valleys, the area is criss-crossed by numerous steams and rivers. For nature lovers, during any season, wilderness areas are in abundance.

The Chester Lake Almanor area offers year round outdoor activities including mountain bike trails, excellent trout and bass fishing, hunting, hiking, rafting, gold panning (ask us, we’ll show you how and supply you with panning gear) , water skiing, boating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
At the Cedar Lodge we will make every effort to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.
We are located at the Junction of Hwys 36 & 89 just 1 ˝ miles west of Chester.
We offer a variety of accommodations suitable for all occasions. Our rooms range from one queen bed to 2 bedroom kitchen units. If you like to travel with your own accommodations, we also have a scenic, full-hook-up RV Park.
Common areas available for use by our guests include picnic areas with propane BBQ grills, a heated swimming pool, kids play area, horseshoes, volleyball/badminton, table tennis, Basket Ball and other outdoor recreation areas.
We have a selection of area recreation guides and maps available to all guests and will do our best to give you area information that will make your stay a memorable one.
