The Holcombs came to Lake Almanor in 2000. They purchased an old restaurant, remodeled it for a home, moved in and began plans for a self-storage facility on the site.
Dr. Holcomb teaches at Feather River College three days a week, enjoys fishing and boating, looking for gold in the local areas, and has many hobbies. He is famous for his smoked salmon, and keeps the smokehouse going all year long.
Mickey is a realtor-associate with Century21 Lake Almanor Real Estate. She enjoys real estate, and spending time with their combined 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
We have a family-owned self storage business at Canyon Dam, located at the south end of Lake Almanor. Our mission is to provide safe, secure storage for both inside and outdoor use. Our new fully fenced facility features,clean top of the line units, and we also have fenced outside storage. Because we reside at the site, we can "keep an eye" on everything. Larry will even provide help with our Kaboda tractor to get your boats in and out for you. Just call a few days ahead so we can make a convenient appointment for you. Our card-lock gate assures you access from 7 am to 9 pm every day. If you need access outside of those hours, please contact us so we can accomodate you.
