Labor Law Poster Updates

Every California business must display state, federal & OSHA notices.

In California, all employers must meet workplace posting obligations. Workplace postings are usually available at no cost from the requiring agency. The Department of Industrial Relations requires employers to post information related to wages, hours and working conditions in an area frequented by employees where it may be easily read during the workday. Additional posting requirements apply to some workplaces. For a list of available safety and health postings, visit the Cal/OSHA publications page.

The following sites have resources for printing labor law posters needed.

Fall Colors Bring Visitors

Dude, autumn happens here too.

Leaf Peepers & Photographers Are You Ready?

CaliforniaFallColor.com has begun posting 2020 photos & reports.

What is CaliforniaFallColor.com?

CaliforniaFallColor.com is a seasonal blog that reports about autumn’s show throughout California. The blog is written, edited and published by John Poimiroo, a career travel writer and destination marketer. More about his work is seen at: poimiroo.com.

Reports and photographs on the site are provided by volunteer color spotters, public lands agencies and destination marketing organizations (DMOs), as a service to others.

This Year's Difficulties
However, this is already proving to be a difficult autumn, both because of how the Covid-19 pandemic is preventing fall color destinations from providing photographs and reports and because of forest, town and road closures due to recent wildfires and bad air.  More than ever, CaliforniaFallColor.com will depend upon the contributions of volunteer color spotters, like you, to update readers as to what fall color is peaking and where.

Dude, autumn happens here, too.
