We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, Editorial Services to join our team. This position can be fully remote or based in Richmond, VA.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Manage Manuscript Review Board (MRB) workflow including monitoring due dates, executing workflow tasks, reporting on MRB results and training participants on how to use the workflow.
• Maintain physical and electronic library of research information resources for the enterprise, including overall budget administration, applications, suppliers, and tools to support end-user requests and copyright compliance.
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders to manage integrated timelines and deliver submission publishing needs.
• Coordinate and manage training for end-users of relevant research, tech and formatting applications. Provide specialized technical support for server upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
• Manage performance of complex queries for research while providing relevant search results and documentation for citation in reporting.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Preferences:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. 6+ years of relevant experience including manufacturing, regulatory agencies, legal and compliance organizations, research and product development, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills with proven ability to meet goals and timelines
• Prior experience with Information Systems, database support and digital content. Attention to detail, strong organization skills
• Proficient experience handling online databases, server upgrades and migrations, troubleshooting technical errors for end-users for a variety of applications.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio required.
• Demonstrated problem-solving; analytical, planning, and organizational skills are required.
• Project management and/or data analysis experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to perform duties within a general office environment. Position requires limited travel to various business meetings and forums.
