This important role will evaluate the overall financial and physical performance of multifamily apartment communities financed by Virginia Housing as well as Virginia’s TCAP and Exchange portfolio. The individual will oversee a regionally based loan portfolio for the Capital and Southwest Team and will report to the department management on at-risk apartment communities with Virginia Housing financing. Responsibilities include financial analysis and physical inspections of properties.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you must possess:

A few years’ experience in the real estate, asset management, and/or financial services field.
Proficiency in MS Office/365 with emphasis in Excel is required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Must possess a current driver’s license in good standing and be able to travel up to 25% within the region, occasionally overnight. Will be required to inspect properties by navigating the buildings, stairways, and grounds.

The ideal candidate would also have:

An industry certification such as the CAM or CPM.
Knowledge of Affordable Housing and Tax Credit programs.

Hiring Range: $78,415 – $101,938
