About Colusa Rice Company
Colusa Rice Company was established as a Cooperative March 16, 1982. Currently we are operating as an S-Corporation which has 39 grower/owners. Our primary business is Rice Drying and Storage. On occasion we will also assist our growers with marketing their crop. We operate two locations that have three, state of the art, column screen driers with a total storage capacity of approximately 1,680,000 hundredweights. Primary varieties of rice that we process are Medium grain (Calrose) and Calmochi-101 (sweet rice), however we do have experience with many other short grains, long grain and premium medium grains.
