About Us
“Dedicated to Student Growth and Success”
The Brookwood School offers Montessori preschool and elementary school programs, as well as premier childcare services for children asyoung as 6 weeks. We sit on an 11 acre beautiful campus with multiple playgrounds, a stream and garden area. The school is conveniently located outside of Cooperstown and serves families from throughout Otsego County.
Our unique Montessori programs deliver an enriched academic curriculum in multi-aged classrooms that meet the needs of children socially, emotionally, academically, physically and ethically. This developmental view of children and education allows us to personalize the content and approach to each child, while ensuring academic success. We are chartered as a school by the State of New York, are licensed as a childcare center by OCFS, and are accredited by NYSAIS (New York State Association of Independent Schools).
