Going Green Commitments

• Glimmerglass State Park practices reduced mowing and recycling. Park uses solar tubes for natural lighting in the bath house. No pesticides are used. Green cleaning products are used. The Park is a Certified National Wildlife Habitat. The Park has 2 electric cars.

Hours of Operation

Glimmerglass State Park is open all year. Park Office hours vary after Labor Day weekend.

The Friends of Glimmerglass State Park are a not-for-profit organization.

Our goals are to increase community awareness and participation through organized events and programs at the park and fundraise for a new nature center at the park.
