Phoenix Cottage is a vintage rental property on the grounds of the Otsego Golf Club at the head of Otsego Lake, offering four bedrooms, three baths, full eat-in-kitchen, enormous loft-like living/dining area with multiple seating areas and a working fireplace. The great room opens up to the outdoors through double sliding doors or onto the stone flagged porch which wraps around two sides of the house. Wheelchair accessible, all on the ground floor. Direct lake access for swimming or kayaking. Beautiful views toward Mount Wellington over the ninth green. Nestled against the woods atop a hill, the cottage is naturally cool in summer with over 20-foot high ceilings in the great room and has baseboard heat and radiators in the bedrooms for cooler weather. Almost walking distance to the Glimmerglass Opera, a short drive away to all the attractions of Cooperstown and the Dreams Park. Just walk down the hill for an immediate tee time at very reasonalbe rates on one of the oldest golf courses in the US. This is the only rental property directly on the grounds of the course because it was built by the family of one of the club's original founders.
