About Us
Centrally located in the historic district, The White House Inn is just a minute's walk to Cooperstown's museums, shops and restaurants. This 19th-century Classic Greek Revival home was built by George Bowne, a reputed pirate who amassed his fortune plying the waters off the southern coast of the United States, resettling upon retirement to this quaint, upstate village on the shore of Lake Otsego.
