About Us
Whisperin' Pines Chalet invites you to enjoy European charm in a country setting. A large Swiss style Chalet, Whisperin' Pines has grown from a small summer camp to a luxurious bed & breakfast out of a true love of hospitality. The grounds include a private walking trail, a stream with two waterfalls, and plenty of fish to feed.
The chalet, nestled in a hollow on the bank of a babbling brook, is just 3 miles from Cooperstown and 2 miles from the Cooperstown Dreams Park. Our furnishings are fine and our setting is nature. The Chalet is ideal for small weddings, social gatherings, or business meetings. Chris and Erin Doucas strive to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
All suites feature a private bath, small refrigerator, air conditioning, color TV with free movie channels and daily maid service. All linens are provided for our guests, as well as an iron and ironing board, and hair dryers. The rates include a full, all-you-can-eat breakfast, with special dietary needs accommodated.
Room rates vary from suite-to-suite, so please inquire further. Rates include a full breakfast, made to order and served in our dining room. Cash, personal checks, traveler's checks. Discover, Visa, and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. Children are welcome, but we cannot accommodate pets. Our home is equipped with a ramp for your convenience. Please note that all of our suite prices are based on double occupancy, with additional charges for extra people.
