Dear CWCC Members,
Since Fall 2016, the CWCC has welcomed over twenty-eight new member businesses, which indicates a roughly 25% increase in membership and a big step toward building a stronger local business community. The CWCC’s 2017 Calendar (attached) is planned and committees for major events have been established.
Earlier this month, City of Waukesha Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) Executive Director Ashley Morelli resigned her position. The CWCC Board of Directors appreciated her work and effort and will continue to implement the previously announced rebranding effort focused on Visibility, Credibility, Community Impact and Membership.
Additional volunteers and Board Directors will be engaged in the interim while the Board is actively working to fill the Executive Director position.
The Chamber is looking for several volunteers to help both events and daily office operations. We have openings for volunteers in many capacities from answering phones to planning events. It’s a wonderful opportunity for community service. Please contact
waukeshachamberboard@gmail.com for more information.
As part of the re-branding process, the CWCC aims to promote member businesses through the Facebook (
link) and Twitter pages (
link). If you would like the CWCC to post promotions, honored employees or other news about your business, please contact Michelle Orr at
morr@pio.carrollu.edu.
Keep an eye out for several small business advertising opportunities especially for chamber members. These promotions will be designed for maximum impact and at reasonable cost. The final 2017 promotion will be on Small Business Saturday, November 25th!
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Sincerely,
The CWCC Board of Directors
