Dear Members and Friends,
I wanted to start off with an apology. I learned not too long ago that many of you were not receiving our monthly newsletters. I soon discovered that our database system was not talking to our other email editor as I had thought. In an effort to correct that, we are now using a new newsletter editor which will not only send you a copy of the newsletter, but will also post the newsletter to our website incase you ever want to reference it again without having to dig through your inbox!
Moving forward, a lot of exciting things have been happening at the Chamber over the past quarter, including: electing new Board Officers, developing three new monthly networking programs and creating an Ambassador program. With that said, I am pleased to announce our newly elected
Board Officers for 2018: Matthew Sirinek of Carroll University will serve as our President; David Taylor of Wisconsin Title will serve as our President-elect; and Alexander Barta of Sitzberger & Co., S.C. will be our Treasurer. We are currently in the process of recruiting new Board Members for 2019. if you are interested in learning more about becoming a Board Member,
please contact me.
For those of you who haven't heard, we have introduced three new monthly events to our programming: A Lunch 'n' Learn Series which the first week of the month, A Coffee with the Common Council event on the second week of the month, and a Young Professionals Networking Group that meets on the last Tuesday of the Month. These events are free for members to attend and in some cases free for non-members too. More information about these events can be found in the left hand column on our newsletter or
here. Also when it comes to events, the Chamber is more than happy to promote any events that our members may be having on our website and in our newsletter,
so please do not hesitate to send them our way.
We are also excited to announce that we have started an Ambassador program to welcome and help orientate new members to their membership benefits. More information about the Ambassador Program will be available on our website in the near future. In the meantime, if you have been a member with the Chamber for more than two years and are interested in getting to know other new members by becoming an Ambassador,
let me know.
I think that is all that I have for now. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, event ideas or suggestions for better networking programs, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
Cheers,
Katie
