This workshop participants are given information and practical tools to help them develop self management skills, improve self confidence and increase motivation to better their chronic pain symptoms, challenges and day to day tasks. This workshop is for adults living with chronic pain (such as musculoskeletal pain, fibromyialgia, repetitive strain injury, chronic regional pain syndrome and post stroke.

Sleep Disorders: Too Tired to Think?
Is it hard for you to fall asleep or stay asleep through the night? Do you wake up feeling tired or do you feel very sleepy during the day, even if you have had enough sleep? If so, you might have a treatable sleep disorder. Fawad Khan, MD, will provide an overview of the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options for common sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. Get tips on good sleep hygiene - useful hints that will help you sleep.

Join the Waukesha Education Foundation in conjunction with the School District of Waukesha as we host our 8th Annual 3K Walk/5K Run and 1 Mile Youth Run on May 12, 2018, at Waukesha North High School.
Proceeds from the Walk/Run are used to support the goals of the Waukesha Education Foundation (WEF). The WEF is dedicated to fostering innovation and creativity and providing enriching educational experiences and opportunities for students in the Waukesha Public Schools. Information about the WEF and WEF Grants and Scholarships can be found online at Waukesha Education Foundation.
PRIZES: Overall male and female runners - $50.00 and we will waive your entry fee in 2019!
