The basic mission of the Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is to serve as an active leader in the advancement of the economic health of the county. In addition, the Chamber strives to promote the success of Chamber members by providing education and social opportunities, recognition of a business accomplishment and representation for concerns. The Chamber also works to encourage a citywide government environment, which understands the needs of business and supports the business community. Finally, the Chamber sponsors community events that contribute to the well being of business and the pride of Montgomery County’ s citizens. The Year Isn't Over Yet... Abigail Hedrick Hi all! I am officially back from maternity leave! What a blessing it was to take some time off to be with our new little girl, BUT back to reality! October is a BUSY month for the Chamber! As most of you know, Peter Kageyama is visiting this week and we have a Community Workshop we would love to have you all attend! (Thursday, October 4 at 7:00 pm) On top of Mr. Kageyama visiting we also will be hosting our Networking Expo/ Job Fair NEXT THURSDAY (October 11 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm)! How is it already time for our Expo? Be sure to register for your business to participate! This year we are having a HIRE MOCO Workshop on Wednesday, October 10 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm to help prepare individuals with Proper Etiquette (lunch is $5), Interviewing Skills, Career Exploration, and the Importance of Networking. We will also have an Consignment Shop available after the Workshop. We are also preparing for our Christmas Auction which will be held on November 8 at Hidden Hollow Farms. Doors will open at 4:30 pm and the Auction will start around 6:00 pm. We hope you are able to join us for an eventful evening. In the meantime, we are currently looking for auction items, if you are interested in making a donation please let us know.
