About Us
Our mission is “Improving the Lives of Families through Child Care Services, Research, and Advocacy.”
In keeping with the organization’s mission, Crystal Stairs administers four major programs that serve nearly 25, 000 children each year:
- Child Care Resource and Referral Program – helps families of all backgrounds to locate child care;
- Child Care Subsidy Program – helps low-income families pay for child care and mange work and family issue as they transition from welfare to work.
- SAGE Children’s Center – provides quality preschool and before and after school child care services, academic enrichment programs and technology access to low-income children in South Central Los Angeles.
- Children’s Health and Wellness Program – provides a variety of services aimed at improving the health of children and their families.
