Longtime Culver’s franchise owners Luke Ryba and Steve Brick are excited to bring their passion for great food and community involvement to the heart of DeLand, Florida. With a recent property acquisition on North Woodland Boulevard, just in front of the Hampton Inn & Suites, Ryba and Brick are poised to break ground in 2024, marking the beginning of an exciting culinary journey in this vibrant city.
Ryba and Brick’s journey with Culver’s began as teenagers, working at a Culver’s in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Their dedication and hard work caught the attention of franchise owners Gale Bowe and Jeremiah Bowe, who became their mentors and helped them realize their dream of owning their own Culver’s restaurant. Now, with successful locations in Oviedo, Casselberry, and Apopka, and one under construction in Sanford, Ryba and Brick are thrilled to expand their footprint to DeLand. Committed to fostering growth from within, they not only provide opportunities for their employees to advance within the company but also actively engage with and support the communities they serve, exemplified by their Apopka location’s contributions to the local FFA.
