Their son, Seth Beery, has joined their team this year as an estimator. Sean and Seth are the only two that provide new roof, reroof, and roof repair estimates. They also both oversee roofing projects to ensure every customer gets the utmost quality work. Brenda leads the redesign division of the business while scheduling and managing the office. Beery Roofing uses the same crew of trained roofers for every job. All their employees are local to DeLand, and all hold a great work ethic.

Why they consider themselves local:

Sean Beery moved to Deltona in 1993. He began his roofing career as a roof installer for residential and commercial projects in Orange City in 1994. He learned all aspects of roofing and gained enough experience to eventually earn his state roofing contractor license in 2002. Sean opened Quality Care Roofing, Inc., of Orange City, in 2002 and ran the business for 12 years. He then semi-retired and focused on his other business, the Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club, in New Smyrna Beach. Sean continued to keep his Florida Roofing Contractor License active. He still sold and installed roofs as a subcontractor during those six years. He sold the club at the end of 2019. On January 1, 2020, Sean and Brenda started Beery Roofing & Redesign, LLC. Sean has lived in Deltona, Orange City, and DeLand, throughout his years in Volusia County.

Brenda Beery moved to Deland in 1980 with her family. Her father and mother opened Comfort Service, Inc, in downtown DeLand shortly after. Brenda graduated from Deland High School. She also earned her master’s degree from Stetson University. Her father has since retired from Comfort Service, Inc, but stays an active member in DeLand. Brenda’s sister, Becky McDonald, is a partner at Dickinson & McDonald, CPA., in downtown DeLand, as well. Brenda is an active member of the DeLand Chamber of Commerce. She has lived in Debary, Orange City, Lake Helen, Deleon Springs, and DeLand.

Seth Beery moved to Deltona in 1993. During summers of his high school years, he helped his dad install roofs. He graduated from Deland High School. He has worked in other fields in Volusia County since graduation. He continued to help his dad with roofing. He started officially training with Sean three years ago to learn all aspects of roofing before he became a full-time estimator. He resides in Lake Helen.

Together, Sean and Brenda have three other children. Cheney Cassaro is the oldest daughter. After she graduated from University High School and University of Central Florida, she became co-owner of Premiere Partners Title, in downtown DeLand. Siena Scott, graduated from University High School and is attending Daytona State College. She is currently a Title Processor for Premiere Partners Title. Brooke Beery graduated from DeLand High School and is attending The University of Florida. The family also consists of two dogs, Teak & Slate.
