About HTD Cleaning Services
After retiring from Volusia County as a Corrections Officer, the owner of HTD Cleaning Services was looking for ways to supplement her retirement income. Suzi Virgilio always loved cleaning, and she used it as her therapy to stay calm and focused.
In 2018 Suzi decided to put her master skills to work. Based on her superior work ethic, her attention to detail and always showing up to every job, the business grew quickly. Her commitment to excellence is demonstrated in all areas of her business today.
One common thread she heard from multiple clients was, “We want someone who we can trust. Someone who will do a great job every time and someone dependable” Each time Suzi’s response was, “I am always honest, trustworthy, and dependable”. Thus, the name (H) Honest (T) Trustworthy (D) Dependable was given light.
Soon after, the business continued to grow and employees were hired. Suzi knew it would take more than herself to build a solid client base. All employees are background checked (mandatory) and go through extensive training, and ongoing training when they are hired. They are trained to be the best in their field. This is important. “Training never stops”, said Suzi. “Our techs have to understand the different surfaces, products we use, and how to clean multiple areas in a home”. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to cleaning, and every minute counts.
