We should eat between 7-13 servings of fresh, raw, vine-ripened fruits and vegetables everyday for our bodies to have the protection we need from free radicals that threaten our health. Most of us don't even come close. I am commited to doing my part to inspire people to add much more whole food to thier diet EVERY DAY, and offer information about Juice Plus, which is concentrated fruits and vegetables to help people bridge the gap between what they should eat and what they actually do eat every day.
We are all "body builders" - but what kind of body are we building?! The 30 fruits, veggies, berries and grains my family gets every day are exactly the nutritional building blocks our bodies need to be healthier, stronger and younger next year. It’s up to parents to shape their children’s nutritional palate – the earlier you start, the better chance you may have at raising a healthy, happy nutritionally aware person. If you’re starting late, congratulations for changing your ways! Remember, never give up – it can take several introductions of new foods before your child will grow to like something new, so persist for the sake of your child’s health.
