Camp Layman is a resort featuring rustic cabin rentals on U.S. Forest Service property. The Camp is situated on the Middle Fork of the Feather River, about 5 miles west of Blairsden. (Halfway between Portola and Quincy.) The Camp was established in the 1920's and 1930's for local miners and railroad workers. Camp Layman is under new ownership as of 2010, and is a family owned business. A gift shop will be opening at the camp in 2011.
