Upcoming events for March (02/28/12)
Meatball cookoff Saturday March 10 starting at 4pm. A small fee will be charged for tasting and judging the meatballs. All money collected from the meatball tasting will be donated to Plumas Rural Services to benefit the battered womens shelter in Quincy. Indian Peak will match the donation. Contact us if you have any questions or if you want to compete. Our chili cook off was a huge success and we hope this will surpass it. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. A special something extra for the 1st place winner was donated by a wine club winner. It's in the tasting room if you want to come in and take a peak. It retails for $100.
The third Thursday of every month is ladies night from 5 to 8pm. So mark your calendar for March 15th. Bring a dish to share. The word is getting out, our group is growing and it's a lot of fun.

About Us
Indian Peak Vineyards is a small family owned and operated winery in the little town of Manton in Northern California.
Our goal is to produce the very best quality wine possible from our unique location. We are currently producing Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, Abstract Red (Blend of Syrah and Zin), Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc and Donna's Dessert Wine (a Syrah port).
Our vineyards are at 2200ft elevation on the western slope of Mount Lassen in Northern California. Our soils are red volcanic and well drained and they slope to the west. Our summertime temperatures usually reach 100 degrees and our night time temperatures drop to the mid 60's.
We look forward to and welcome visitors who stop by and would like to taste the fruits of our labor.
