Nakoma Golf Resort cordially invites you to come and enjoy a day of golf with us on The Dragon. This truly beautiful golf facility is nestled in the majestic peaks and tall pines of Plumas County (just north of Truckee California and Lake Tahoe). Nakoma Golf Resort offers scenic alpine beauty, lush fairways, and a magnificent clubhouse for your enjoyment. This 18 hole, par 72 championship course features multiple sets of tees with course yardage varying between 4611 to over 6749 and slope ratings between 123 and 147. The 23,000.00 square foot clubhouse was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and hosts a restaurant, bar, and golf shop. If an overnight stay is desired, the Villas designed by Frank Lloyd Wright protégées are exquisitely designed and available for nightly or weekly rental. Come play with us and enjoy the beauty we call Nakoma.

Mountain Villa

Distinctive studio-style villa with open living spaces organized around a central, 3-sided stone fireplace in the typically organic design of Frank Lloyd Wright and his Taliesin Architects. The vaulted ceiling literally caps off a kitchenette, living room, sleeping area and enormous, spa-style bathroom. A sofa bed provides flexibility in sleeping arrangements.

Tower Villa

Fans of unique architecture will love this two-story villa, featuring a kitchenette and living room on one floor, with a sweeping staircase to the loft’s elegant bedroom and spa-style bathroom nested above. As is the case in every villa, a central fireplace is the design hallmark of architects personally trained by Frank Lloyd Wright to emphasize the warmth and welcome of “hearth and home.”

Butterfly Villa

Guests seeking spacious vacation living will revel in the two bedroom, two bath Butterfly, complete with full-sized gourmet kitchen, dining area and a living room angled around that same stone fireplace that defines each Villa. Water dances in a fountain spouting from the 10th hole’s adjacent pond, providing just the right accompaniment to the forest sounds as you while away a heavenly day or evening on your private deck at he Nakoma Golf Resort.
