About Us
We are a non-profit group dedicated to providing educational and recreational activities for the youth of Eastern Plumas County. To accomplish this we purchased the existing Adventure Village Children's Center and are now in the process of improving and expanding that program. Portola Kids Inc. serves children ages birth through 17 years. We are open Monday-Friday from 7:45AM to 6:15PM. We offer a variety of programs serving the communities' need for childcare, infant care, toddler care, preschool, after-school care, and youth recreation. We accept private pay families, subsidized childcare payments, and offer a variety of scholarship options. Currently we can serve up to 12 infants, 8 toddlers, 12 preschoolers, 14 after-school students, and 14 teenagers. We hope to expand the teen program soon!
