About Us

J's Feather River Tool and Equipment rental is located in Portola California. We provide all your tool and equipment rental needs. From small construction tools to earth moving equipment, we have it all. In our endeavor to provide support to the surrounding communities if we don't have what you need, we will get it for you at no extra charges.

We offer more than just rentals. In an effort to raise the quality standard in the construction industry, we also provide two new services!

The Contractors Connection Center is a service which acts as a liaison between the homeowner and the contractor. This referral service is free to the homeowner and with their request, we will refer three licensed contractors. We pull from a full list of distinguished contractors.

The Work Force Connection offers contractors and homeowners alike, the opportunity to hire experienced temporary help. Our employees have been screened and come highly recommended. Temporary workers are available to you for the day, week or jpob! Hourly rates are quoted per the skill level needed. J's workers are already covered under workers comp and insurances. so there is no added stress for you. They have their own tools and are ready to serve your needs.

The Hospitality Connection Center is a local service for out of town contractors. This service includes discounted hotel arrangements, restaurant accounts, plus other local information which may help simplify your endeavor in our community.

Our Part Time Residence Service is at your beck and call. In preparation of your return to your mountain residence, we will warm your home, plow your drive, shovel your paths, stack firewood in an easily accessable location, dust, freshenthe house up, stock a few groceries to get you through the first night, etc...
