About Estherville Lincoln Central Schools
The Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District is dedicated to promoting an equal opportunity for a quality public education to its students regardless of background. The district focuses on preparing all students to maximize their potential. Students are encouraged to foresee the time when they will have jobs, homes, families, and places in the community as individuals with true worth and dignity.
The Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District is the largest school district in Emmet County with a district population of approximately 8,800 people. The district educates approximately 1,360 students PreK 12th Grade, employing about 225 full-time staff.
The district has four attendance centers:
Demoney Elementary PreK - 4th
Middle School 5th 8th
High School 9th 12th
Renovations and remodeling to the High School and Elementary were completed in 2008 and 2016. The middle school is a new facility, completed in 2009 and is connected to the High School on the West side. All buildings are on the same campus.
The Estherville Lincoln Central Community School District believes the key elements to a public education are instruction and curriculum. Dedicated personnel strive to prepare students for critical thinking and problem solving in the workplace, to discover and nurture creative talent and to prepare them to meet and cope with social change in an atmosphere conducive to learning.
