About Jensen Stores - Furniture and Floors
Jensen Stores has been in business since 1923. The business originated when John Jensen Sr. started making cabinets and furniture. Back then, cabinet makers also made caskets and were also in the funeral home business. At one time there were 5 stores located throughout the state of Iowa, but have now consolidated down to the stores in Estherville, Iowa.
At Jensens, we offer friendly home town service. Over the years we have enlarged the stores selling spaces and have added a lot of new lines. Our selection gives people a one stop shopping experience with both furniture and flooring. This makes coordinating fabrics and finishes a breeze, and helps to give that completed room decor look. The Jensen sales staff have been in the decorating business for over a combined 50 years, which makes them very knowledgeable. We treat all customers as we would like to be treated!
Jensen Stores is a Shaw-ANSO premier dealer, a Mannington One dealer, a La-Z-Boy Comfort studio, and have recently added a Flexsteel Studio Gallery. Each of these bring special lines into our store that you may only find in the larger cities. Selection becomes more unique and pricing is very beneficial to you, the consumer.
