Chocolate Walk


Christmas is just around the corner and it's time to start thinking about Holiday decor and gifts! THIS THURSDAY, November 20th will be the Annual Estherville Chocolate Walk! Mark your calendars for this fun event! Walk (or drive) to many of the Estherville stores for a delicious chocolate treat and fun shopping and specials! It's a great way to kick-off the Holiday season and get a head start on your Christmas shopping!!

Kindle Reading

On Thursday November 20th from 5-7pm in conjunction with the Chocolate Walk there will be a Kindle reading at Radio Shack. Rev. Vance Toivonen, "Reading Jesus" will be at 5; Dr. Glenn Rogers, "The Colemans", at 5:30; Joel Jurrens, "In the Sticks", at 6; and Michael Tidemann, "Doomsday" at 6:30. This event is FREE to the public!

Parade of Lights

Estherville kicks off Christmas in a spectacular way with the Parade of Lights. The Parade of Lights will be THIS Thursday,  November 20th. If you or your business is interested in being a part of the parade please fill out this form and return it to the Chamber Office. The theme this year will be "Frozen". 

Chamber Board Opening

The Chamber will be having open Board seats for 2015. If you or someone at your business is interested in becoming part of our Board please send Lexie an email at echamberdirector@gmail.com or give her a call at 712-362-3541. Board Members are expected to attend one meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month and to attend a majority of Chamber events and BA5's. 

TUBACHRISTMAS

It's time to start thinking about registering for TUBACHRISTMAS 2014 in Estherville. If you like to play the Tuba come celebrate the holidays with us! The event will be held on Thursday December 4th. For more information and to register to play click HERE

Avera Auxiliary "Holiday Wreath Extravaganza"

The Annual Avera Holy Family Auxiliary “Holiday Wreath Extravaganza” is coming up soon.  Avera is looking for businesses interested in donating wreaths for the annual fundraiser to be given away during the Holiday Coffee hosted by the Auxiliary on Thursday, December 11th. More details can be found HERE! In an effort to go green the Auxilary will not be sending out hard copy letters so please share this email with the appropriate person in your office. 
  

2014 Community Christmas Project

Since 1982 the Estherville Area Ministerial Association has sponsored an annual Community Christmas Project, in cooperation with the Department of Human Services and Upper Des Moines Opportunity, for those in need in Emmet County. All contributions to this effort remain in Emmet County, and all who benefit reside in Emmet County. Attached HERE is a letter with more information on the Community Christmas Project and ways you can give!
