The 67th Annual Flight Breakfast is THIS SATURDAY!!!! Remember to celebrate the 4th of July with us from 7-11am at the Estherville Airport! This longtime Estherville tradition keeps getting better every year! Fill up on pancakes, eggs, sausage while being entertained by planes, plane rides, Helicopter rides, FREE pony rides, facepainting, Black Knights Cars, RC Planes and so much more!!! The 2015 Downtown Market Season is filled with new vendors and old favorites! Join us this week on Thursday from 5-7pm in Library square to do a little shopping! This year the market will run every Thursday night from 5-7pm starting June 18th and running until September 24th. For more information or to register as a vendor click HERE! Heldt - Laker Golf outing The Annual Heldt-Laker Golf Outing will be on Friday, July 10th at the Estherville Golf Course! The Outing will begin at 11am with registration and meal and have a shotgun start at noon! It costs $100 per golfer and the procedes go towards scholarships to Iowa lakes Community College! Kiwanis Club of Estherville, Fareway and Hy-Vee have partnered with the Kiwanis Red Barrel Program to gather items for the local food pantry. Please donate items to the Red Barrel located in both grocery stores when you are purchasing groceries. On your way out of the grocery store just drop your items in the RED BARREL. If you don’t know what the Food Pantry needs-both grocery stores have made it easy by preselecting items and putting it in a bag for you for $5.00. Purchase the bag and drop it in the RED BARREL on your way out. It’s just that easy. EXCELlent Property Improvement Contest The Excel Beautification Committee is running the EXCELlent Property Improvement Contest again this year! Winners receive $200 and a sign in their yard!
