All businesses and unoccupied structures within Emmet county are encouraged to fill out a form to assist emergency services in Emmet county in the case of an emergency.
Go to www.cityofestherville.org or go to the post on the Estherville Police Department's Facebook page for the link.
If preferred, paper copies are available at the Police Department to fill out.
 

Emmet County 4-H Carnival & Awards Night will be held on Sunday, November 24th at the Forest Ridge School in Gruver, Iowa. The Carnival activities will begin at 5pm for people of all ages to enjoy. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 6pm. This is a chance to acknowledge the hard work the 4-H'ers, leaders and volunteers put into making Emmet County's 4-H program remarkably strong throughout the year. 
The High Lakers 4-H Club will have a meal for sale of maid-rites or hot dog with chips, bar or cookie and a drink for $6. 
All family members, friends and members of the community are encouraged to attend. Come help us recognize our outstand 4-H program in Emmet County.

Join us Thursday, November 21st for the Chocolate Walk from 4-7pm and the Parade of Lights at 7pm! Head to Chamber Member businesses in Downtown Estherville for great shopping deals and delicious treats! Following the Chocolate Walk the Parade of Lights will go from 13th Street to 5th Street on Central Avenue. After the Parade the kids can join Santa in Library Square to help him use the magic of Christmas to turn on the lights! 

Then on Thursday, December 5th we get into the full Holiday swing with Winter Nights, Holiday Lights and TUBACHRISTMAS! Frm 5-7pm enjoy horse drawn wagon rides, carolers, store sales and open houses, and the opening of Santa's House! TUBACHRISTMAS will perform at the Methodist Church at 6pm and inside the Estherville Public Library at 7pm. Both concerts are free to the public and sure to get you into the Holiday Spirit!
