Dining for a Cure

Dining for a Cure will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Estherville Elks Lodge. Social will be at 5:30 with meal beginning at 6. Following the meal they will hold an auction. The idea of the evening is to have fun and see how creative each table can be . (Christmas theme, fall theme, sports theme, etc.) This year they will be $150 for 6 people. Gather a group of your friends, come up with a table theme and support a good cause. The meal will be prepared by Jeremy Bonner and will consists of: Chicken Breast w/white sauce, Baked Potato, Green Beans, Dinner Roll, Dessert, Soda/water/coffee. Tables will be socially distanced, the Elks Lodge encourages masks but are not required.

Please follow and use the "Estherville Information - Covid 19 Business Changes" Facebook Group to announce any business changes during the pandemic. Please use this group to notify the public of any information you think is pertinent about your business. Also restaurants and retail establishments are encouraged to post how customers can still shop with them! Together we will get through this!! Stay strong and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you!

Ambassador Events

The Estherville Ambassadors have decided to cancel their Annual Golf Outing and the Annual Law Enforcement and Emergency Personnel Appreciation Dinner for 2020 due to COVID! The Ambassadors look forward to hosting these events again in 2021! Ribbon cuttings and visits are still available by calling 712-362-3541 with safety precautions put in place.

2020 Census

 Help Us Boost Iowa's Census   Participation 

 I cannot stress enough how important census   participation is to the future of our state. We need all   942 cities and 99 counties to compete. For every   Iowan who is not counted, the state stands to lose   $17,000 over the next ten years.

 The census impacts 8.7 billion dollars in federal funding for Iowa, to help with roads, housing, education, agriculture, health care and more. We need your help. Encourage friends, family, neighbors and coworkers to take a few minutes and complete the Census at

Produce has officially arrived at the Downtown Market!! Don't miss out on great locally grown fruits and vegetables plus home baked goodies and more! The 2020 Downtown Market Season continues this Thursday in Library Square from 4:30pm to 6:30pm! 
We are currently accepting all vendor registrations.  We have put in place precautions to keep market shoppers and vendors safe.
