Keep Iowa Beautiful Photography Contest!
Every year, Keep Iowa Beautiful aims to raise awareness of Iowa’s rural and urban beauty with our Annual Photography Contest. The photo contest offers both amateur and experienced photographers an opportunity to tell Iowa’s story in a fun, engaging way!
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our founding this year, Keep Iowa Beautiful has created an EXPANDED photo contest that includes cash awards totaling over $2,000! We’ve also introduced FIVE new categories to the contest: 
  • Iowa Landscape
  • Iowa Water
  • Iowa Cities
  • Iowans in Action
  • Iowa Wildlife

Please follow and use the "Estherville Information - Covid 19 Business Changes" Facebook Group to announce any business changes during the pandemic. Please use this group to notify the public of any information you think is pertinent about your business. Also restaurants and retail establishments are encouraged to post how customers can still shop with them! Together we will get through this!! Stay strong and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you!

Ambassador Events

The Estherville Ambassadors have decided to cancel their Annual Golf Outing and the Annual Law Enforcement and Emergency Personnel Appreciation Dinner for 2020 due to COVID! The Ambassadors look forward to hosting these events again in 2021! Ribbon cuttings and visits are still available by calling 712-362-3541 with safety precautions put in place.

Fright Hike this Saturday!

Fright Hike was posptoned from last weekend to this Saturday, October 31st due to inclement weather!! We hope you'll join us in Fort Defiance Park from 6-7pm for the Lights on Hour or 7-9:30pm for full scare! $5 per person and masks are required!

City Seeking Pool Donations

The City of Estherville and the Estherville Parks and Rec Department are currently seeking donations to finish the pool project fundraising! Every dollar counts and brings us closer to fully funding this project for our community! You can donate by filling out the card below or you can donate online by credit card HERE!

Neighborhood Facade Grant!

Excel Estherville is offering a new grant to those homeowners looking to spruce up the exterior of their property. This is a matching grant of up to $2,500 and is not limited to owner occupied properties. Applications due November 15th.
