November Business After 5

Be sure not to miss tomorrow's Business After 5 event at Holiday Express! The company has been in business since 1969 and employs 115 people! Holiday Express has 43 company drivers and 24 owner operators and has been named the Hormel "Spirit of Excellence" award winner 15 consecutive years! They've accumulated 50 million accident free miles and are a key employer in the Estherville Area.

The team at Holiday Express is excited to host Business After 5 and will show everyone how their satellite communication with the trucks works during the evening. Click HERE for the BA5 invitation - see you there!

Parade of Lights this Thursday!

Don't miss our annual Chocolate Walk and Parade of Lights this Thursday night! The Christmas decorations are up, Santa House and Santa are ready for their 2012 debuts and we're excited to have a bustling town so we hope to see you there! Our businesses will have treats and lots of holiday items to check out - it should be a great night!

Schedule of events:
4-7pm: Chocolate Walk at participating businesses
7pm: Parade of Lights – from 5th Street along Central Avenue to 13th Street
7:15pm (after parade): Tree lighting on library balcony

Full event info can be found here on our website.

Holiday promotion events

Registration for our new Winter Nights, Holiday Lights event is still open and we'd love our member businesses to take part. The November 29th event is slightly different than in previous years - we are not doing Snow Globes this year but instead will have a window decorating contest with the community voting for their favorite display. This is the first night for Santa House, and we'll have wagon rides, carolers and our TUBACHRISTMAS players throughout the town so it will be a very festive evening!

The participation cost is $15 for the night, or $10 if you participated in the Chocolate Walk. We'd love to have the town in total holiday mode during on the 29th so please register today HERE.
