We had to postpone our Web Presence Seminar due to the weather, and we are set to try again on Wednesday March 27th at the Estherville Public Library Community Room. Call the Chamber to put your name on the list so we can track our numbers on 362 3541.

Our first Legislative Town Meeting alongside the Farm and Home Show had a great turnout! We'll hold another meeting with Representative Tedd Gassman and Senator Dennis Guth on Saturday April 6th at the Library Community Room at 10am. Coffee and donuts will be served - please come along to discuss your questions and concerns with your legislators! This will be the final town meeting for 2013.

Thanks so much to Northwest Bank and Don Jose for hosting March's Business After 5 event! What a great evening and of course delicious foods (see pics here). The April Business After 5 will be hosted by Inman Electric/Radio Shack on Tuesday April 9th - mark your calendars now!

We are having an "Easter Shop Hop" from 4-6pm on Thursday March 21st. It's not too late to join in - we can still provide you with a poster and direct people to you through our Facebook page (and you can tell your customers!) Participating businesses will give out Easter treats and have instore specials and/or hand out coupons. We hope that moving the Easter promotion inside stores will encourage a bit of extra shopping. Thanks to the businesses that are taking part.

If you have space in your business to help advertise the evening HERE is a poster - we'd be very appreciative of any help to promote the night!

Once again this year we will have the Easter Bunny at the Estherville Library for area children to visit. On Thursday March 21 from 4-6pm, the Easter Bunny will hand out Easter treats to kids and pose for a photo! Then Easter Story Time will be offered from 6-7pm.

Thanks to all of you who were vendors and visitors to the Estherville Farm and Home Show! Despite a smaller crowd due to the state basketball tournament we still had great feedback from vendors about the quality of visitors.
